Money Talks with Citizen Reno + Wall Street Insider

Funny.  The U.S.A. is avowedly anti-intellectual, yet it was an idea that ransacked us into the 'upward wealth consolidation/downward most aspects for the rest of us' we now experience.

The Reagan DeRegulation Revolution hypnotized the country. Virtually every financial authority making the rules joined the free-market-knows-all religion. Meanwhile, that same religion got us into the Great Depression, during which we established a supervisory structure that kept us pretty panic free for 40 years! Until everyone in charge forgot and destroyed the structure that kept us safe.

My question is: What is "the market" if not PEOPLE?

I never thought I'd miss the middle class.  I never thought it would be imperative to understand banking.  I did think those two guys at the bank machines who were deeply engrossed in debate about the 'Rite of Return', were from the U.N., until I heard it right: the "Rate of Return".
