GET INVOLVED !!!

Okay, so I have not 'vetted' (showbiz lawyers use that word alla time) every single one of these sites, use your own judgement. Sites I know a little better are bolded with an asterix.*

Daniel Ellsberg recommends these sites for up-to-the-minute information about what you can do to help avert the war, including information on upcoming nonviolent actions, demonstrations, protests, and civil disobedience across the nation, as well as info on internet activism:

Unitedforpeace.org
The Nation (ActNow page)
TrueMajority.com (press the "Take Action" button once there)
MoveOn.org

And he further recommends these urgently important websites for daily-updated news and views about the impending war on Iraq:
Antiwar.com
Commondreams.org
ZNet Iraq Watch
WarInContext.org

The Week of Global Action against Debt and IFIs is an initiative of the different movements and organisations in the International South North Campaign on Illegitimate Debt. It was born at the World Social Forum in Nairobi, in 2007, and this year is calling for its 3rd edition, from 12 to 18 of October 2010.
Movements and organizations all over the world to join forces in this call for action, uniting the struggle for freedom from debt domination and market fundamentalism with the struggles for climate justice (October 13), rural women and debt repudiation (October 15), food sovereignty (October 16) and poverty eradication (October 17). Let us mobilize for lasting solutions that will make another world, a just world, possible.
